The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has declared that the identity of Nigeria’s next leader for the 2027 elections is already settled in heaven.
Addressing a workers’ meeting at Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday, the cleric maintained that the election result is outside of human control, emphasizing that God’s plan will take center stage.
He stated, “The next president has already been decided by God who owns the universe. It is not something we can determine by human effort alone. The will of God will be done.”
The clergyman advised Nigerians not to be troubled by the current political climate, noting that God still holds total authority over the country’s destiny.
He clarified his stance on political participation, saying, “I never said we should not be involved in politics, but we must understand that God has the final say in the affairs of men.”
As political movements gather momentum for the 2027 polls, Adeboye encouraged the public to stay peaceful and committed to prayer.
He concluded, “We should do our part, but we should also keep on praying and trust God. That is what is satisfying to me.”
