The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended the former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman.
The former public official was recently convicted and sentenced to prison by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja over a massive financial misappropriation scandal during his tenure in office.
The executive Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Ola Olukoyede, confirmed that the high-profile arrest took place at precisely 3:30 am on Tuesday.
Mamman was tracked down and arrested in Kaduna alongside two other individuals who were reportedly shielding him from law enforcement.
Operatives are currently investigating the specific property where the fugitive former minister was uncovered.
