Ned Nwoko, the Senator representing the Delta North senatorial district, has claimed that the results of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections in the zone were doctored by the Delta State Government.
Nwoko insisted that he won the primary election fairly.

The immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, was declared the winner of the primary contest.
However, while speaking during an interview on Arise News, Nwoko challenged the official outcome of the primary election, maintaining that he was the actual winner of the poll.
