The Independent National Electoral Commission has launched its official employment portal for the 2026 hiring cycle, calling on qualified citizens to submit applications for various entry-level roles spanning Grade Levels 07, 08, 09, 10, and 12.
Official updates from the electoral body indicate that submissions began on Monday, July 20, and will conclude on Monday, July 27.
According to management, the recruitment drive is designed to bolster operational effectiveness in areas such as voter enrollment, electoral administration, logistics coordination, and database management to better fulfill the agency’s statutory responsibilities.
Interested candidates can apply via the web platform by setting up a profile, filling out the digital submission form, and attaching scanned copies of necessary academic and professional credentials.
Furthermore, the commission emphasized that the entire process is completely free and cautioned candidates against providing misleading data or fake documents, noting that violators face immediate disqualification and possible legal action.

Additional prerequisites include recognized professional affiliations like ICAN, ANAN, COREN, NSE, CPN, NIQS, or NBA, a minimum of two years of professional experience post-graduation, an NYSC discharge or exemption document, and proficiency in communication, analysis, problem-solving, and digital tools.
Administrative Officer II / Registration Area Officer (Grade Level 08)
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent credential in the Sciences, Humanities, or Social Sciences from an approved tertiary institution.
They must also submit an NYSC participation, exemption, or exclusion document, showcase competence in record management and data handling, and display working knowledge of productivity software and digital platforms.
Executive Officer / Registration Officer (Grade Level 07)
Applicants are required to present a National Certificate in Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized body, accompanied by fundamental computer literacy, data processing abilities, and strong organizational skills.
