BREAKING: New Exchange Rate Emerge As Naira Crashes Massively Against Dollar At Official Market

On Wednesday, the naira experienced a notable depreciation in the official market, trading at N1,669.15 to the dollar.

Data from the FMDQ Exchange indicated that the currency lost N127.21, which translates to an 8.24% decline compared to the previous trading date on Monday, when it stood at N1,541.94 per dollar.

Additionally, total daily turnover decreased to $176.45 million on Wednesday, down from $181.86 million recorded on Monday.

In the Investor’s and Exporter’s window, the naira traded within a range of N1,699 to N1,550 against the dollar, reflecting ongoing volatility in the market.
