Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso Given Strong Warning Against Contesting In 2027 Presidential Election

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju issued a warning on Wednesday to former presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

He advised them against investing in the 2027 election, suggesting that their funds would be better spent on betting rather than campaigning.

In a post on X, Adeyanju asserted that even if Atiku, Obi, and Kwankwaso were to unite, they would still struggle to defeat President Bola Tinubu.

Adeyanju said, “It is better for Atiku, Obi & Kwankwaso to use their money to play two odds on BetNaija than to contest against Tinubu & INEC.

“Even if they all unite now, it’s all for nothing. It’s a waste of time to contest elections in a nation where results on IREV are changed. Edo on my mind.

“I will waste my vote is no longer finding it funny. And Tinubu is just starting. The best time the opposition had to defeat APC was the last election if they united. Even if they all come together now, Tinubu & INEC will not lose an election Tinubu will conduct.”
