The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the assault and molestation of a young woman at Don Maserati Classic Boutique on Lagos Island.
The victim, who worked as a salesgirl at the boutique, was allegedly accused of theft, prompting a group of men to administer corporal punishment on her.
The police have stated that they are working to apprehend additional suspects involved in the incident, while also making efforts to establish contact with the victim.

These details were shared on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, via his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Hundeyin stated, “Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are on to apprehend other suspects and establish contact with the victim.”
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, also assured Lagosians of justice, Justice will be served,” he added.
The arrest came after widespread public outrage sparked by a viral video showing a young woman being flogged and assaulted by multiple men.
Reports indicate that the incident was allegedly ordered by the owner of Don Maserati Classic Boutique, who accused the victim, an employee, of theft.
The video, which spread rapidly on social media Sunday, led to strong condemnation from online users, with many demanding the immediate prosecution of everyone involved.
