Again, Multichoice Hikes DStv, GOtv Prices [FULL LIST]

Multichoice has announced that it will be raising the prices of its DStv and GOtv packages starting March 1, 2025.

The company revealed this in a statement issued to its customers on Monday.

The statement titled, “Price adjustments for DStv and GOtv packages,” read, “Dear Customer, please note that effective 1 March 2025, there will be a price adjustment on all DStv packages.

“This is to enable us to continue to offer our customers world-class homegrown and international content, delivered through the best technology.”

This adjustment comes nearly a year after the last price review.

According to the company, the new pricing will see the DStv Compact package increase from N15,700 to N19,000, while the Compact Plus will rise to N30,000, and the Premium subscription will go up to N44,500.

Similarly, GOtv customers currently paying N3,600 will now pay N3,900, while the GOtv Plus package will increase from N4,850 to N5,800. The GOtv Max package will now cost N8,500, Supa will rise to N11,400, and Supa Plus will be priced at N16,800.

MultiChoice, the parent company of DStv and GOtv, attributed the price hike to rising operational costs in Nigeria, citing currency depreciation and high inflation as key factors driving the decision.
