Civil servants who receive two to three salaries per month who are 864 in number have been uncovered by the Taraba State Government.
This came after an examination by the state’s Head of Civil Service, which discovered that some civil officers were collecting treble wages each month.

The findings were published in a statement issued by the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
The message further highlighted that the recent N2,000 deduction from July salary was for passport expenses approved by the right authorities.
According to the statement, the payments were transferred straight to the approved company in charge of passport processing.
