At current average retail benchmarks, refilling a standard 1kg cylinder costs ₦1,250, while a 3kg refill sells for approximately ₦3,750.
For mid-sized domestic containers, consumers are paying around ₦6,250 to refill a 5kg cylinder and roughly ₦12,500 for a 10kg cylinder.
The popular household 12.5kg cylinder currently attracts a refill price ranging between ₦15,625 and ₦19,500, depending on the location, retailer margin, and specific gas plant.
At the depot level, wholesale prices have stabilized following recent adjustments, with major coastal terminals in Lagos and Warri dispensing bulk gas between ₦950 and ₦1,050 per kilogramme.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery maintains the lowest depot rate in the Lagos axis at ₦950 per kg, while other operators like Navgas, Ardova, 11 PLC, and NIPCO sell between ₦975 and ₦980 per kg.
Depot facilities in Warri and eastern supply corridors reflect higher figures, with operators quoting up to ₦1,050 per kg owing to regional vessel discharge and handling logistics.
Market analysts note that foreign exchange movements, international freight charges, and distribution bottlenecks remain the primary drivers of final retail pricing variations across the country.
