Mourning In Northern Nigeria As Emir Dies In Kano Hospital

The Emir of Ningi in Bauchi State, Yunusa Danyaya, has passed away.

Usman Sule, the secretary of the emirate, confirmed the death in a statement released by RFI Hausa on Sunday.

The emir died in a Kano hospital after a long illness.

His remains will be buried at 4 p.m. on Sunday at his palace.
