Romano posted on X, “No agreement between Victor Osimhen and Chelsea, even after a new proposal was made two hours ago. The deal is completely off, and Chelsea’s delegation is now leaving Napoli. If there are no developments from Saudi Arabia in the next three days, Osimhen will stay at Napoli but will not be part of the first-team squad. The relationship is currently completely broken.”

Earlier, Romano had stated that Napoli had reached an agreement with Saudi club Al Ahli for Osimhen, with the deal reportedly worth €75-80 million.

Osimhen was set to sign a four-year contract with a salary of €25-30 million per season.

The proposal also included an affordable release clause, lower than the reported €100 million.
