The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that it will investigate allegations of incorrect figures recorded in polling unit result sheets during Saturday’s Edo State Governorship Election.

“This is the second complaint we have received out of the 4,519 polling units used for the election.
“The Commission will immediately investigate the matter and deal with any proven infraction,” the commission said in an X post on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded over 90% of the polling unit result sheets from Saturday’s Edo State Governorship Election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
As of 8:56 p.m. on Saturday, results from 4,259 out of 4,519 polling units had been uploaded.
