The remains of the late Army Chief arrived at the church at 11:17 a.m. in a military motorcade, accompanied by a military pipe band and horsemen.
Among those in attendance were the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, as well as high-ranking government officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, other service chiefs, and officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces were also present.
In her tribute, the First Lady praised Lt.-Gen. Lagbaja as an “exemplary man” whose legacy would continue to be celebrated by the nation.
