The declaration was made at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, where the group passed a vote of confidence in the president.
In his address to the media, the group’s chairman, Hon. Joseph Maiwada, explained that their continued support for the Tinubu administration was based on the president’s achievements over the past year.
He highlighted the administration’s efforts to address security challenges in the North, emphasizing the success in combating terrorism and banditry.

In 2024 alone, security forces neutralized over 8,000 terrorists and bandits, arrested 11,600 individuals, and recovered more than 10,000 weapons.
Wada also noted that President Tinubu’s government has been actively working on infrastructure and economic projects, including the Presidential Initiative on CNG, and has made strides in attracting foreign investments.
He pointed to the $5 billion investment by Shell and its partners in the Bonga North deep offshore oil project, which is expected to generate jobs and stimulate regional economic growth.
Furthermore, Wada highlighted the government’s initiatives such as the Students Loan Fund and the Consumer Credit Corporation, which aim to empower students and workers. These programs have already benefited over 300,000 students.
