Stop Talking When I’m Talking – Nnamdi Kanu Hits One Of His Counsels [VIDEO]

The video captures the moment Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) hit one of his counsels who was talking while he was trying to make a point.

Kanu questioned the jurisdiction of his terrorism case on Monday when he appeared before Justice Binta Nyako at the Federal High Court for the continued hearing of his long-running case.

Despite Kanu’s claim that Justice Nyako lacked jurisdiction over his case, the judge adjourned the matter indefinitely.

In his address to the court, a visibly angry Kanu demanded to know why he was being brought before Justice Nyako, stating that he found her words meaningless.

He further stated that he did not recognize the court’s authority under her leadership.

Kanu emphasized that he appeared in court out of respect for the rule of law, but added that he was unhappy with the chief judge’s decision to return the case to Justice Nyako. He also argued that the prosecution had no right to prosecute him.

The IPOB leader maintained that Justice Nyako was biased in handling his case and should not continue presiding over it, expressing his belief that poor understanding of the court was negatively impacting Nigeria.

The prosecution’s lawyer raised an objection to Kanu’s comments and requested a specific date for the hearing, pointing out that the prosecution had not submitted a written application.

Awomolo stated that it was inappropriate for Kanu to insult the court.

Regardless of Kanu’s objection, Justice Nyako postponed the case indefinitely.
