Rivers State Government Shares Letter Notifying House Of Assembly Of Fubara’s Visit

Governor Siminalayi Fubara stated that he had informed Speaker Martins Amaewhule about his intention to visit the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex.

On Wednesday, Fubara was denied entry to the complex when he arrived to re-present the 2025 Budget, as instructed by the Assembly following the landmark Supreme Court ruling on February 28, 2025, which acknowledged Amaewhule as the legitimate Speaker of the House.

Additionally, the Rivers State Government issued a letter notifying the House of the governor’s planned visit.
