He assured residents that sufficient security measures are in place to protect worshippers at designated Eid prayer grounds.

“As we celebrate, let us remember that peace is paramount. We must put aside our differences and work together as law-abiding citizens for the progress of our state and nation,” CP Bakori said.

He urged worshippers to follow security guidelines, such as avoiding carrying items that could raise suspicion.

The Commissioner also emphasized a strict ban on horse riding (Kilisa), car racing, and reckless driving during the festive period.

Parents and guardians were advised to caution their children against being manipulated by subversive elements, stressing the importance of adhering to public order to prevent any breach of peace.

The Command also called for continued cooperation with security agencies and urged residents to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
