Tragedy As Chief Dies While Testing ‘Bulletproof Charm’ At Funeral [VIDEO]

Nana Kwabena Okyere, a traditional chief in the Upper Denkyira West District of Ghana’s Central Region, has passed away after reportedly shooting himself with a pump-action gun.

The incident occurred while he was allegedly testing the potency of a local bulletproof charm, popularly known as “juju,” during a funeral ceremony.

The tragedy took place during the funeral rites of another chief, where Nana Kwabena had joined other mourners to pay their respects.

Sources confirmed that the chief sustained a severe gunshot wound during the demonstration and was immediately rushed to the Ayanfuri Pentecost Hospital for emergency medical attention.

The medical officer at the facility reported that Nana Kwabena Okyere arrived with a deep gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The injury was so severe that it caused his intestines to protrude, and despite efforts by medical staff, he died while receiving treatment.

The incident has left the community in shock as they mourn the sudden loss of the traditional leader under such unusual circumstances.
