Nigerian businessman and celebrity, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, has shared the reasons behind his decision to switch his allegiance from Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, to President Bola Tinubu.
The socialite, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, was among several prominent celebrities who strongly backed Obi during the 2023 presidential election cycle.
However, as preparations begin for the upcoming general elections, Cubana Chief Priest parted ways with Obi’s camp and pledged his loyalty to Tinubu.

He has since taken up a role as a coordinator for the City Boys Movement, a grassroots mobilization group initiated by Seyi Tinubu to build support ahead of the 2027 polls.
During a live session with trending Nigerian streamer Peller, Cubana Chief Priest opened up about the factors that motivated his departure from Obi’s political movement.
