The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially directed all its primary election committees to submit their final reports and result sheets for the 2027 general elections primaries and legislative bye-elections.
The directive was contained in an official press statement released on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
According to the timeline authorized by the APC National Organising Secretary, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, the party has set strict deadlines for different categories of the internal elections.

Monday, 25th May, 2026: Last day for the submission of Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly Results and Reports.
-
Saturday, 30th May, 2026: Submission of Legislative Bye-Election Results and Reports officially commences.
In the statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the leadership of the ruling party warned the panels handling the assignments to avoid any delays that could disrupt the party’s transition plans ahead of the general elections.
The statement explicitly ordered all hands on deck to ensure that the process remains seamless, accurate, and fully documented before the windows shut.
“Accordingly, all relevant Committees are directed to ensure the timely, accurate, and complete submission of all required documents within the stipulated deadlines,” the party stated.
