The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has officially approved the composition of his Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), naming former Presidential Aide Kashim Ibrahim-Imam as Chairman and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai as Deputy Chairman.
The appointment details were released on Thursday in an official press statement signed by Phrank Shaibu, the Director of Strategic Communications for the campaign council and Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku.
According to the campaign office, the newly structured team was specially formed to reflect the harsh economic challenges facing Nigerians, focusing on solutions for rising food inflation, transport costs, and eroding household incomes.
Senator Austin Akobundu was appointed as the Director-General and Campaign Manager, tasked with driving the overall strategy and operational coordination across the country.
The campaign structure features six Deputy Directors-General overseeing key operational directorates, backed by 30 directors managing specialized portfolios.
