President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kaduna State to formally flag off the presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the upcoming 2027 general elections.
The President touched down amid heavy security and was warmly received at the airport by a delegation of senior government officials, security chiefs, and prominent party chieftains.
Prior to his arrival, the Director-General of the Campaign, Abdulaziz Yari, alongside the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, had already stationed at the tarmac to welcome the Commander-in-Chief.
During his visit to the state, President Tinubu is scheduled to commission key legacy infrastructure projects and hold strategic closed-door meetings with critical political stakeholders and traditional rulers.
In the race for the 2027 presidency, Tinubu is contesting against major political opponents, including Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), among others.
