This bill is one of 32 constitutional amendment bills that successfully passed their second reading in the House on Thursday.

- A bill to allocate specific seats for women in the National Assembly and state houses of assembly.

- A bill to revise the eligibility criteria for presidential, vice-presidential, gubernatorial, and deputy gubernatorial elections.
- A bill to reconsider the status of the Federal Capital Territory regarding presidential elections.
- Bills proposing the creation of Wan State and Gobir State.
With these advancements, the total number of constitutional amendment bills that have passed their second reading now stands at 113.
