Kemi Olunloyo, the daughter of the late former Oyo State governor, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo, who passed away on Sunday, April 6th, has stated that she will not accept condolences for her father’s death.
In a series of Facebook posts on Wednesday, the well-known social media figure shared alleged details of events that significantly impacted her father’s family before his passing.
She announced that she was posting video statements about her father’s death on TikTok and reiterated her stance from 2024 that she is no longer part of the Olunloyo family and would not return to Nigeria, even upon the death of her parents.

In a subsequent video post, Kemi Olunloyo recounted past events, placing blame on her deceased father for allegedly destroying the family.
She explicitly stated that she was not accepting condolences and directed those wishing to express sympathy for her father or his family to his official Facebook page.
Despite claiming to have forgiven her late father, saying, “I have forgiven my Dad for everything he did,” the social media influencer lamented the unknown struggles within her family and others.

Kemi Olunloyo described her father as having “two different personalities” – one for the public and another for his family.
She alleged that he “destroyed our family unit” and “tortured us as kids emotionally and physically.”
While acknowledging that her father did many things for them, she claimed he “marketed me as his favourite daughter and child to the world” but that she was “far from being his favourite” and that he “used me for a lot of things,” taking advantage of her positive energy.
She further alleged her father was deeply involved in “juju” and occult practices, a claim she publicly made on his 80th birthday. She stated that after this, he sought out Pastor E.A. Adeboye and became born-again.
Kemi Olunloyo also claimed that “they wanted to kill my story but they didn’t but they killed Tayo; they killed my brother’s child.”
She recounted the story of her brother who was with her in the “Ali Must Go” car incident, stating he suffered severe brain damage and paralysis for 43 years before his death in 2021, lamenting that “they ruined his destiny.”
She attributed the family’s crises to her father’s marriage to Ronke Sonaike, later known as Aderonke Omololu Olunloyo, whom she claimed was a campaign worker during his 1983 governorship bid.
She alleged that the family was thrown into turmoil when Ronke became pregnant, which angered her own mother.
Ms. Olunloyo stated that Ronke, approximately 65 years old, had three children with her father: Wura, Olumide, and Subomi. She described her mother’s marriage to an “intellectual” who “turned into a polygamist” as a difficult situation.
She recalled Ronke being their schoolmate who later became her father’s “concubine” and alleged that her father’s involvement in occult practices began after Ronke entered their family. She also claimed her stepmother once tried to poison her mother.
Kemi Olunloyo also recounted an incident where her mother allegedly placed a miniature coffin under Ronke’s son Olumide’s bed.
She further stated that she was not on speaking terms with her stepmother and had been informed by her older sister that towards the end of her father’s life, after his 2021 stroke, no one had access to him because Ronke prevented it.
