The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Thursday, November 6, 2025, as the official date for the passing-out ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 corps members.
According to a statement on Monday signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the management approved a “low-key event” to mark the conclusion of the service year for the batch, whose orientation course ran from October 23 to November 12, 2024.
The statement detailed that activities leading up to the ceremony will begin with “job advisory and counselling sessions for corps members across various local government areas nationwide.”

The process will also involve the signing and issuance of final “clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors to the outgoing corps members.”
The statement included well wishes:“The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes all the Corps Members, passing-out including the Monitoring Officers on assignment a successful Winding-up and Passing-out Exercise,” the statement added.
The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation course was held simultaneously across all 37 orientation camps in Nigeria.
The three-week training introduced corps members to “paramilitary drills, leadership development, entrepreneurship training under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme, and community integration.”
After orientation, the corps members were deployed to their Places of Primary Assignment, where they contributed to community development by serving in sectors such as “education, health, agriculture, and other critical sectors across the country.”
