There was tension at the Premises of the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal on Monday January 20th as some thugs loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) had a heated exchange with security personnel.

One of the Thugs loyal to the APC who spoke right in front of men of the Nigerian Police Force issued a threat to a DSS officer who was at the Tribunal.

The video has drawn condemnation from many Nigerians who faulted the police for looking on and doing nothing but watch a thug threaten an officer of the DSS.

The Thugs loyal to the APC have been besieging the high court Premises in Benin City with a clear move which points at disrupting the Tribunal proceedings.

Yesufu took to popular social media platform X to react to the video.

She wrote in a post she tagged the handle of the police: Dear Nigerian Police @PoliceNG Isn’t this an indictment on you?!

Where is that show of force you bring to peaceful protesters? A non state actor threatening a DSS officer?! And all is quiet?!

If you all can no longer secure citizens let us know so we do that for ourselves! Enough of cowards who think they have monopoly of power threatening our collective peace.
