Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Bakyasuwa, an active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) belonging to the Dosara/Birnin Kaya Ward within Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has officially tendered his resignation from the party with immediate effect.

Bakyasuwa made his departure public through a formal letter directed to the APC Chairman of Dosara/Birnin Kaya Ward, pointing to personal convictions and deep frustration regarding the Federal Government’s failure to curtail ongoing insecurity issues in Zamfara State.

Within his resignation letter, he highlighted deep worries regarding the relentless waves of banditry and tragic slaughter of innocent citizens throughout the state, asserting that the APC-led Federal administration headed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fallen short in successfully managing the crisis.

Furthermore, he raised doubts concerning what he termed a missing political resolve required to conclude the extended period of insecurity.

“This decision is based on personal convictions, particularly my dissatisfaction with the inability of the APC-led Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to effectively address the persistent banditry and wanton killings of innocent people in Zamfara State,” Bakyasuwa stated.

He additionally remarked that he felt troubled by a perceived absence of adequate political determination to solve the security troubles facing the region.

Bakyasuwa expressed appreciation to the party for the chance to function as a member while reaffirming that his exit takes effect immediately.

His departure arrives against the backdrop of heightened anxieties surrounding banditry, abductions, and community raids across Zamfara State, where public safety continues to stand as a central political and societal issue.

This political shift is expected to further intensify discussions across political spheres in Maradun and Zamfara State concerning the federal response to national security challenges and the fallout from the prolonged crisis.
