Award-winning Nigerian music star Davido has opened up about the root cause of the tension between him and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore, sharing details in an exclusive interview with News Central.
According to the singer, the rift started during the #EndSARS protests in Abuja, where he and his team were actively leading demonstrations.
Davido recounted how Sowore attempted to join their camp during the march, but he declined, gesturing for him to stay away.
The “Omo Baba Olowo” crooner noted that ever since that specific incident at the protest grounds, Sowore has remained bitter and has frequently criticized him and his actions on social media.
Davido, however, brushed off the persistent criticisms, maintaining a lighthearted stance on the activist’s ongoing remarks regarding his involvement in social and political matters.
